This Buhera garlic gourd was handwoven by women using ilala palm found in the region, in the Buhera District of Zimbabwe. The indigenous women use their craft to support their families, and with that they are passing down from generation to generation their traditional weaving techniques. Not only these gourds are gorgeous statement pieces, but they are sustainable and eco friendly.
