The Lozi are a Bantu-speaking ethnic group along the Zambezi River in western Zambia. According to Lozi mythology, Nyambe is the creator of everything and he lived with one of his wives, Nasilele on Earth.The Lozi ceremonial calendar is largely defined by the state of the flood. Kuomboka is a word in the Lozi language; it literally means 'to get out of water'. The ceremony is preceded by heavy drumming. This is a vintage drum was used at these ceremonies.
