Authentic, handwoven rattan backpack made by the Dayak people from Kalimantan, Borneo. Using traditional weaving techniques with undyed and dyed strips of rattan fibers, local artisans created functional and timeless pieces of art.
Historically, women used these baskets for collecting fruits or for storage, and men were using them to carry their hunting tools when they set out into the forrest. Luckily these baskets are so versatile, that the modern adaptation of these so called anjat/backpacks make them ageless.
They make great beach bags, shopping baskets or even for display.
